Dr. Ryan Flatt DC
ChiropractorRyan was born and raised in Abbotsford. His interest in sports and related injuries led him to Palmer College in San Jose to pursue chiropractic. While there, he was an active member in the Student American Chiropractic Association Sports Council (SACA), where he was able to gain valuable experience as an attending chiropractor at a variety of sporting events. His interest in sports and advanced techniques in treatments led him to further his training in soft tissue mobilization and treatment through Active Release Technique (ART). He was chosen amongst other student chiropractors to provide treatment at the Iron Man World Championships in Kona, Hawaii in 2003 and 2004.
Ryan employs a hands-on approach to the treatment and prevention of injuries, through diversified, drop-table adjustment in combination with ART. He believes in the individualization and education of each patient to provide the best chiropractic and health care possible, and looks forward to working with both you and your family.

Dr. Garret Kusch DC
Chiropractor, College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada) ResidentA Richmond native, Dr Kusch enjoyed a successful career as a soccer player. Turning professional in 1997 with the Vancouver 86ers (now the Whitecaps), he was honoured with selection to the Canadian Olympic and World Cup teams for over four years, and was a member of the team that won the Gold Cup in 2000. He also played professionally in Belgium, Norway and Sweden before returning to complete his schooling and receive his doctorate. He has a special interest in working with athletes of all levels and ages, and was selected to attend the 2008 Beijing Olympics as part of the medical team for the Canadian Women's Soccer Team. He is currently chiropractor for the National Men's Soccer Team.
Through his soccer, Dr Kusch experienced firsthand the benefits of chiropractic and other complementary healthcare disciplines, and it inspired in him a vision to be involved in creating a multidisciplinary wellness center where individualized care and a teamwork ethic are combined to provide people with the most comprehensive healthcare possible. For this purpose he was a founding partner of Performance Chiropractic & Wellness Clinic in White Rock, where he continues his practice. He has a special interest in sports, education, anatomy, neurology and biomechanics, and utilizes a wide range of techniques to assist individuals in reaching their health goals and needs, including adjustment, soft-tissue work and therapeutic exercises, with a special focus on educating them towards a better understanding of health and wellness.

Dr. Suzanne Sacrey BSc, DC
Chiropractor, Certified ART Provider, Webster Technique CertificationSuzanne was born and raised in Labrador City, Newfoundland. She believes chiropractic is an integral part of helping people live to their fullest potential, a belief that led her to take part in a chiropractic mission to Bolivia, and to volunteer for the local White Rock Women's Resource Center and community events, which she continues to do. She now resides in White Rock, and is passionate about personal growth and wellness, quality time with family and friends, great food, reading and movies. She stays active through regular exercise, rowing, walking, Pilates and yoga.
Employing hands-on, diversified methods, Suzanne combines several
adjusting techniques (manual, drop-table, blocks, cranial work, Webster
Technique, and ART provider) to provide individualized care for the
whole family. Suzanne takes the time to care for each patient
individually, spending 30-45 minutes initially and 15 minutes for
follow-up treatments. She is also a member of the International
Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is currently certifying in
pediatrics and perinatal care.

Dr. Rachel Stewart BSc(H), ND
Naturopathic Physician, Acupuncturist and Bowen TherapistBorn and raised on the Semiahmoo Peninsula, Rachel grew up with a love of sports, particularly soccer and karate. She continues to be active, having played for the local women's soccer team for over 15 years, and you might see her enjoying an evening run on some of the local routes and trails. In her teens, Rachel saw and experienced naturopathic medicine's ability to heal from the inside out, and it gave her a desire to provide this wellness-centred healthcare to her community. She volunteers her services to the local women's centre.
Focusing on healthcare for the whole family, Rachel employs clinical nutrition, botanical/herbal medicine, traditional chinese medicine and acupuncture, biotherapeutic drainage and lifestyle counselling in her practice. Special areas of interest include digestive disorders, allergies, women's health, musculoskeletal complaints, detoxification and stress management. She also offers a wide range of laboratory tests, such as allergy, endocrine (including hormone, thyroid and adrenal) and heavy-metal testing, as well as IV therapies.

Brad Greenwood RMT
Registered Massage Therapist, Weight TrainerBrad grew up in the Fleetwood area of Surrey. He began working with the public as a weight trainer and worked at the Surrey Sport & Leisure Center (SSLC) for four years. It was there that he became interested in massage therapy in order to qualify as a competent healthcare practitioner. He has designed training programs for UBC varsity athletes, treated people with multiple sclerosis and various degenerative neurological conditions at the George Pearson centre, and volunteered over 50 hours of treatment time with the Nike Runners Lounge along Vancouver's seawall during his schooling at WCCMT. A new goal is to qualify as a volunteer at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.
Brad's interest is in finding the root of the problem, not simply treating the symptoms, and in educating his patients so that they can participate in their own healing and further wellbeing. His modalities include Swedish massage, triggerpoint release, fascial and myofascial release, muscle-energy technique and PNF stretching and strengthening work, and he employs these techniques to enable the neurological and musculoskeletal systems to achieve homeostasis (a stable state).

Michelle Jackson RMT
Registered Massage TherapistMichelle spent her childhood in the Langley area, and after high school travelled and lived in Europe. When she returned, her innate passion for health and wellness naturally led her to a career in massage therapy. She aspires to complete her degree in Health Science in order to contribute her love of research to the thriving massage therapy industry. As a strong believer in the importance of maintaining her own health and well-being as an integral part of providing optimal health care to patients, she is also an avid runner and works out regularly.
In treatments, Michelle first builds a strong foundation with her
patients through a well-rounded assessment. She then employs Systemic
Deep Tissue Therapy® as well as numerous effective massage therapy
modalities, utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, myofascial
release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, muscle energy
technique and stretching. Her focus is on giving her patients
treatments that will help find and treat the cause as well as the
symptoms.

Rebecca Stewart RMT
Registered Massage TherapistRebecca was born and raised in the White Rock/South Surrey community. After several years of living and studying in Toronto, she returned home to the peninsula to begin her practice. She has been a member and played for the Semiahmoo Soccer Association since childhood.
Rebecca works primarily with a focus on injury rehabilitation and prevention, sports injuries, back and neck pain, headaches and overuse injuries, implementing a variety of techniques including Systemic Deep Tissue Massage ®. A dedicated healthcare provider, she believes that everyone can benefit from massage therapy, that the body has the ability to heal itself and that regular massage therapy treatments aid individuals to live their lives optimally. She enjoys working with a wide variety of conditions and people of all ages, as well as the fact that her occupation allows her the opportunity to continually learn and develop as a therapist.

Leah Fransen RMT
Registered Massage TherapistLeah was fortunate to have grown up in Crescent Beach. Growing up in this area introduced Leah to an active lifestyle early on. Playing a variety of sports such as swimming, soccer, basketball and softball gave her an appreciation for the human body and its abilities.
Later on in life, long distance cycling including trips across Eastern Australia and Eastern Canada and USA, as well as competing in triathlons. It was at this point she discovered massage therapy and its benefits.
Leah's knowledge of sports enables her to incorporate specific treatments in prevention and rehabilitation. Whether they are serious competitors or weekend warriors, but her focus is not restricted to these individuals. The modalities she incorporates include Swedish, myofascial release and deep tissue massage. Leah believes that any person suffering from acute or chronic pain or just the stresses of everyday life can benefit from massage therapy.
