Low Intensity Laser Therapy

Laser TherapyThis dynamic emerging technology utilizes superluminous and laser diodes to irradiate abnormal tissue with photons. These are particles of energy that are absorbed by a variety of micro-molecules within the cell, a process which initiates a number of positive physiological responses. In essence, light energy is converted into biochemical energy. The result: normal cell morphology and function are restored. The process is curative and, as logic dictates, symptoms disappear. More information.

Laser Therapy has been successfully used to treat a broad range of medical conditions, including musculoskeletal problems, arthritis, sports injuries, post-surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers and dermatological conditions.

Unlike many pharmacological treatments that mask pain or only address the symptoms of disease, Laser Therapy treats the underlying condition or pathology to promote healing. This means that the treatments are effective and the benefits of Laser Therapy are long lasting.

How long does a treatment take?

Treatments are typically 35 minutes to one hour in duration for any particular condition or patient.

How many treatments are needed?
