Dani Foster, RAc, Registered Acupuncturist
Having always had a passion for helping others, Dani discovered traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) while exploring alternative methods of healing. She strongly supports the holistic view of disease found in TCM philosophy and aims to address all aspects of imbalance in the body during treatments to not only combat current disorders but also prevent further imbalance from occurring.
After graduating from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner program at PCU College of Holistic Medicine in Burnaby, B.C., Dani continued on to complete the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine Program at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, B.C. She is currently a Registered Acupuncturist with the BC College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (CTCMA) and plans to write the licensing exams for both the Registered Herbalist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine designations in the coming year.
Dani emphasizes preventative medicine and encourages her patients to be actively involved in their health and the healing process. She uses tools such as body acupuncture, auricular (ear) acupuncture and seeds, cupping, Tui Na (Chinese massage), diet recommendations, and physical and mental exercise recommendations to aid in improving her patients’ health.
